NJLTAP – Understanding Crash Data Analysis and Design Exception Process (In-Person)

Course Description:
This workshop is for public agency personnel and consultants working on their behalf to gain an understanding of crash analysis tools and methods. The significance of data driven decision making will be explained, as well as the importance of data quality, where to find data, and how to use data to make safety improvement decisions.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn the importance of using crash data for decision making
  2. Understand how to use data to select countermeasures
  3. Identify what types of data are available

Intended Audience:
Local public agencies, consultant engineers, NJDOT staff
